In 1987, he revolutionized the interior design world, writing The Encyclopedia of Window Fashions , a comprehensive book on window decorating that has sold more than one million copies and become an international bestseller. Charles has written and collaborated on several other books on window decorating and is listed as the world's leading expert on window decorating in Samantha Ettus' book: The Experts Guide to Everything at Home along with other notable leaders such as Barbara Guggenheim, Joy Browne, Al Roker and others.
